Welcome! Our goal at Stone Creek Church is to be the friendliest place in Champaign-Urbana, and whether you’re looking for a church to call home or just checking things out, we hope that you feel welcome.
We know that new places and people can be scary, so we'll do our best to make your visit with us as smooth as possible. Here are some things you can expect to find when you visit:
- We support a casual and comfortable atmosphere, even on Sunday mornings. You’ll see shorts, jeans, and even formal attire, so wear what’s comfortable for you.
- Our friendly volunteers and staff are eager to help you find your way around as soon as you arrive on our campus.
- Services are meant to be relevant to your life, and include modern music, media and messages. We hold a “classic” service at 8:30 for those who prefer a more traditional feel.
- Children get their very own services, designed to be fun, exciting, and inviting. Our volunteers are well-trained and equipped to attend to your children.
- The Café sports a casual atmosphere and offers free WiFi, snacks, and a coffee bar for those who need their morning fix. Yes, you can actually worship God and sip a latte at the same time!
- Stone Creek Church is the ultimate melting pot, with 40-50 nations represented in our church family. We celebrate this diversity on the first Sunday of every month, so you might see people wearing international clothes if you visit on one of these Sundays.
- No church is perfect, but we strive to make everyone feel welcome – please let us know if there is anything we can do to better serve you!
